Bringing our style to bangin’ new tunes by Chappell Roan, Olivia Rodrigo and Sabrina Carpenter as well as some timeless classics from Dolly Parton, Janis Joplin and Blondie.
The Decibelles pay tribute to the princesses and powerhouses of pop music from the 1950s to now. From bittersweet melodies and bubblegum pop to fierce punk riffs with a rule-breaking attitude, this show celebrates the female and non-binary artists who’ve defied expectations, challenged conventions, and left a lasting impact with grit, guts – and a little bit of glitter!

The stage was all yours from 7:30 PM, and then we handed it over to The Decibelles at 8:30 PM to show us how it’s done.

UnforgettaBelle…an uplifting tribute to singers and songwriters past, whose legacy lives on in the music left behind. The Decibelles presented a show paying homage to the trailblazers of rock and pop – those who lived to see fame and fortune and those who left too soon. Celebrating the names who made their mark… from Bowie and the Beatles, Cobain and The Cranberries, Winehouse and Whitney, and so much more! It’s been too long between songs!

City of Lost Souls

A fun and fevered night of ghost stories of St Kilda and surrounds told through song, spoken word and hand-drawn animated projection. Featuring professional artists, two community choirs (women and teenagers) and rooming-house residents who kick a**.
A celebration, a remembering and a homage to the ghosts of our past — people, places, histories, objects, geographies and more! Come along on a ghost-train ride through the haunts of this ’hood.
Presented in cabaret style, written by Maryanne Lynch, with Andrée Greenwell and Hugo Race, featuring the Decibelles Female Pop Choir, Albert Park College Choir and Roomers Inc.
Radicals, Belles and Femme Fatales

A celebration of female voices from the 60s to today. From humble beginnings to mega-stardom the Decibelles transported you through a spirited selection of songs from iconic female pop artists. From Aretha to Alanis, from Madonna to Beyonce, Radicals, Belles and Femme Fatales was a tribute, a celebration and a battle-cry. Music Director Ursula Paez, The Belles and their band invited you to experience the music that marked each generation, and honour the legacy of feminism in popular music.

We cranked up the heat for the ultimate block party as Melbourne’s premier choirs got out the fairy lights and welcomed you all to the festive season in style! Pulling up a deck chair and sipping your way through this cocktail of choral delights, for the first time, the legendary Melbourne Gay & Lesbian Chorus, shOUT Youth Chorus, the dapper gents from Low Rez Melbourne Male Choir, and those darling divas – the Decibelles Female Pop Choir were all together on one stage! It wouldn’t be an Aussie summer without a few tasty Christmas tunes to get you in the right mood!
Hell's Belles

The Decibelles and MEMO Music Hall are banding together to bring you… HELL’S BELLES… A shirt-shredding tribute to a genre that has endured and evolved – from pubs to stadiums, garage grunge to polished pop rock – not to mention soft rock, glam rock, rock chicks and of course some iconic Oz rock… the Belles are cramming it all into one stone-washed, silver-studded spectacular. Belting out the ballads and interpreting the anthems that rallied the generations, The Belles are back, looking good in leather and sounding slicker than ever.

Reminiscing over the pop roots of the 60s and 70s, the gaudy glam of the 80s, some 90s nostalgia and the best beats from 2000 and beyond, Bellebration was the feel-good fiesta of the year as we paid homage to some of pop’s most inimitable influencers!
